In special cases, such as accepting new organizations into the association's ranks, the required seniority requirement will be at the discretion of the committee, and will be made in accordance with their activity in the previous organization.

4. Upon receiving the recommendation, the committee will examine, in addition to professional achievements, the extent of activities for the professional community, which is measured according to criteria that award points in accordance with predefined rules, and will select the person with the highest score relative to the scores of the other members of the group in which he is active.

5. The Committee reserves the right to exercise its own discretion when discussing recommendations.

6. If there are no suitable recommendations and/or there is doubt about the committee's ability to examine a candidate's professional achievements, the committee may consult with the chair of the department to which the candidate belongs, while introducing three group members who have the highest scores in the group, with the aim of selecting one of them and working to obtain a recommendation.

* Note: There may be multiple groups belonging to one chairperson as well as groups that do not have a defined chairperson.

C.2. The decision-making process in the committee

  • Each year, approximately 6 certificates will be awarded to deserving members (with a suitable recommendation and a suitable score) who belong to and are active in one of the 13 groups.
